Bedros Keuilian, founder of the #1 online fitness marketing website was ahead of the game. He was well aware of Googles changes and planned for the changes in advance and, because of this, his sites did not suffer.

SEO strategies are imperative for fitness marketing and in getting a website noticed on the Internet. Unfortunately, because of what the SEO hackers did to cheat their way to the top, some fitness professionals are paying a price. Up until a month or so ago anyone could get any crack SEO service to rank a website by giving them a several hundred bucks a month, but not anymore.

I received an email from a trainer who was clearly upset about his website ranking. This trainer said, ‘Google hates trainers and heres why. I used to rank high for certain keyword terms and now I cant even get at the bottom of the page.’

“Fact of the matter is Google doesnt hate trainers. Google hates cheaters and they have been taking action against them,” states Bedros Keuilian. If the changes Google has made has affected a fitness business’ rankings there is no need to stress. Here are some fitness marketing SEO strategies from Bedros.

Although the 2012 Presidential election is still a year away, news outlets can’t stop talking about it, and millions of Americans are already focused on it. In 2008, President Barack Obama easily swept the elections by a large margin, but his approval rating has fallen significantly due to the poor economy. As the economic recession continues to create hard times for millions of Americans, many conservatives are hoping that the American public will vote him out of office. Before that can happen though, the republicans have to come up with a viable candidate, and the republican primaries are far from over. If you want to really understand how this election is unfolding, it’s easiest to do so online with your wireless internet access.

Currently, the polls show that Herman Cain, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry are the republican frontrunners. Other candidates, such as Michelle Bachmann, Ron Paul and Rick Santorum are longshots that are able to shape the debate but are unlikely to actually win in any primaries. You can gain a better understanding of each candidate by using your wireless internet connection to do some research online. You can start by visiting each of the major candidate’s websites, where you’ll find information about their positions on different issues as well as videos from different speeches and campaign stops they’ve made. Beyond their campaign websites, you’ll also want to use your wireless internet access to read articles about all of the candidates that are appearing in major news publications. Even though the elections are so far away, the candidates are all making news on a daily basis and things change very quickly from one day to the next.

Historically, the primaries that take place in New Hampshire and Iowa are the most important because they take place first. In 2012, both of those primaries are scheduled to take place in early January, and the republican frontrunner will be established then. As a result, the republican candidates are all spending as much time in those two states as they possibly can because they really want to reach out to potential voters there. Although you probably can’t go to either of those states just to hear their speeches, you can use your wireless internet access to follow them from home. Once those two primaries are over, the candidates will start spending more time campaigning in swing states, but once again, you may not live in one of those states. If you live somewhere that consistently votes republican or democrat, then you probably won’t be getting as much attention from the presidential candidates as you’d like. Fortunately, you can once again use your wireless internet connection to stay posted on what they are up to and even to contribute your own voice. In many of the political debates that will take place, major news outlets will field questions from regular Americans that post them online. Get online so you can participate throughout the political process and so you can easily follow election news as it unfolds.

The United States presidential election in 2004 was held between two presidential candidates John Kerry and George Walker Bush. George Bush gain both popular and electoral vote, though Bush’s popular vote had a slim margin compared to that Kerry’s. The election was also different from the election of 2000 in which George Bush became the president of the United States with gaining the vote of electoral collage but failed in gaining the popular vote. So what had happened to public opinion that made them to vote for Bush, the same candidate who had failed to gain the popular vote in previous presidential election? Had Bush proved to be a better President during his first term of presidency? Or was it due to his 2003 invasion of Iraq and the importance of foreign policy that led to his victory? Or by comparing the slim difference between the popular votes of the two candidates can we say that the war on terrorism was not that much important or influential in Bush’s election?

Before answering to these questions we should know why do people vote they way they do? Some believe that people vote based on party affiliation e.g.

they vote to democrats or republicans because they feel a psychological attachment toward one of these parties. Others believe that party affiliation model is out of fashion in recent years and Americans are becoming more sophisticated. By the emergence of new issues, new generation of Americans decide about their future president based on the important issues of the time. Statistics shows that in 1992 presidential election only about 29 per cent of the voters strongly identified with Republicans or Democrats, which is rather a significant decrease compared to 1960s. So, most voters in recent years are said to be independent.

This paper will focus on issue voting theory: that people decide about their future president based on the important issues of the time, though the writer admits issue theory, while being important is not completely responsible in election of a president.

American public usually prefer to focus on domestic issues rather than foreign policy. But in 2004 presidential election foreign policy was the dominant theme in presidential campaigns. The reason for that was U.S. invasion on Iraq which had started in 2003 and had changed Bush to a wartime president; but there were still some controversies around the issue: Bush, the republican candidate and the president of war focused his campaign on national security and presented him as a decisive leader for war against terrorism while Kerry the democrat candidate believed in “stronger at home, respected in world” policy which suggested more attention to domestic affairs. Another important factor was that the election was held only one year after the invasion on Iraq and considering the swift victory of American military forces and relatively few causalities of American troops, Bush had gained more approval rating (which did not last long with failure in finding weapons of mass destruction which was the logic for the war, and long occupation of Iraq which led to mass protests in future years). Bush’s approval rate in the month of May rode at 66% to a CNN-USA Today-Gallup poll. Another interesting point is that when American troops are sent out for a war, the commander-in- chief gains more approval and fame inside the country; though this trend is not long lasting and by the time people are becoming aware of heavy casualties or are becoming dissatisfied due to tax increase, the protests are going to start; this was the case in Vietnam War and the war in Iraq. But with respect to the 2004 presidential election, as it was mentioned Americans were still in high sprit with their apparent victory in Iraq and Bush was gaining more fame and popularity for his heroic actions. So, perhaps it can be said that Americans were looking for a president who would continue these heroic actions and glorious victories for a while.

But it is oversimplification to say that the only reason for George Bush’s victory in presidential election of 2004 was his foreign policy attitudes. This becomes more problematic when popular votes of the two candidates are compared: Bush gained 62,040,610 popular vote and his rival Kerry gained 59,028,111. As it is clear the difference between the two candidates is not that much significant and so other factors should be taken in to consideration for a more comprehensive conclusion.

Only one news organization has an “embed” reporter covering Paul full time Steve Watson March 1, 2012 www.infowars.com www.prisonplanet.tv GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul and his supporters have long complained that the establishment media deliberately operates a blackout when it comes to Paul’s campaign, a claim that has been verified time and time again. Now yet more evidence has emerged that highlights the level to which the media is purposefully sidelining the Libertarian Congressman. As Dylan Byers of Politico reports, NBC News is the only media organization that still has a reporter covering Ron Paul full-time. With only four candidates remaining in the race for the GOP nomination, with Super Tuesday looming, and with the Republican national convention just six months away, you would think that mainstream media organizations would have dispatched at least one reporter to cover each of the candidates campaigns. Not so for Ron Paul, however. “I’m the only dedicated embed consistently covering Ron Paul,” NBC’s Anthony Terrell has declared. www.infowars.com

Campaign Strategy With Text Message Marketing – Marketing – Marketing Tips

Ambitious political candidates are now using text messaging to communicate with their supporters in the hope of replicating President Obama’s 2008 social media strategy. But these imitators may not enjoy the same success, in part, because they’re not developing a mobile marketing strategy around their text messaging effort.

Text marketing needs to be part of an overall communications strategy that includes print, online, radio and TV advertising. Moreover, campaigns need to have a strategy in place for collecting supporters’ mobile phone numbers and using those numbers to push for action.

The Obama campaign, for instance, built its enormous mobile phone database by promising to break the news of his vice presidential pick via text message. Obama’s campaign messaged more than 1 million mobile phones with the announcement that then-Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) had been chosen.

Obama’s strategy also included running a Super Bowl ad in February 2008, asking supporters to text “HOPE” to 62262 (or O-B-A-M-A) on their mobile phones. The campaign collected the mobile numbers and used them to inform supportersparticularly elusive young votersabout speeches, local volunteering opportunities and, eventually, get out the vote (GOTV) efforts.

Making text messaging interactive and requiring supporters to engage is the real key to success when it comes to utilizing this communication channel.

Take Wisconsin’s Russ Feingold (D), whose 2010 text effort showcased one example of how to successfully capture cell numbers. On opening day for the Milwaukee Brewers that April, his Senate campaign asked people to text them predictions of who would win the infamous mascot sausage raceBratwurst, Polish, Italian, Hot Dog or Chorizo. The Polish sausage won, by the way, and while Feingold didn’t it was undoubtedly a clever and successful text marketing technique.

By some estimates, there are 4.3 billion text messages sent every day to the some 330 million mobile devices in the United States. Here are a few ways for campaigns to harness this fast growing medium:

Develop a database of supporters’ mobile phone numbers. It is essential that these lists are formed of supporters who have specifically opted in to receive text information from the campaign. Use meetings, monthly publications, newsletters and other events to gather this data. Don’t wait: start developing this list today, even if you don’t plan on investing in a text strategy until next year. This is crucial to the success or failure of your text campaign.

Choose the right partner. This is extremely important. Sending large volumes of texts requires specialized messaging infrastructure and an experienced messaging provider to ensure successful delivery. If delivery cannot be guaranteed, campaigns have no way of knowing their messages were received and voters don’t know if campaigns received their response. Your service provider should be able to deliver real-time confirmation.

Decide how often to send messages to supporters. Text is a timely channel, but in some cases constant and repetitive messages do more harm than good. Some frequent messages turn into spam and annoy people. Text is still considered a spam-free channel.

Once the data is collected and the text strategy is in place, campaigns can do everything from conduct surveys, inform supporters about voter registration and absentee ballot deadlines, promote down-ballot candidates or make a GOTV push.

It’s a powerful tool to send supporters a text message to remind them to “VOTE TODAY” or “BRING A FRIEND WITH YOU TO VOTE.” In 2012, elections will be won by the candidates who get it.

Marijuana Laws

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) January 05, 2012

Everyone wants to save a buck, but there are certain things that are important to consider when seeking out a medical marijuana doctor for an evaluation, according to Greenway Medical Marijuana Physician Evaluations in San Francisco. The medicinal cannabis doctor-patient relationship is just as important as it is in any other medical context. Patients need to know what services they can count on.

DeVries warns that medical marijuana patients are often attracted to doctors and clinics that advertise bargain prices, only to find at the appointment that the offer is good for no more than a one-month recommendation. She also has a growing concern for patients whose clinics go out of business.

One San Francisco clinic recently closed its doors, and now their patients are calling Greenway in a panic because there is no follow-up contact available, said DeVries. Theres a lot of frustration out there.

Greenway suggests posing the following questions to all medical marijuana doctors and clinics before signing on the dotted line:

1) Is the doctor an experienced California licensed physician with medical and research experience?

2) Does the doctor have knowledge of how medicinal cannabis can affect and control various medical conditions?

3) Is the doctors letter of recommendation valid for a full year for the price advertised?

4) Are there extra fees for ID cards, caregivers or extra copies of the letters of recommendation?

5) Can the recommendation be verified 24 hours a dayboth online and by telephone?

6) Can the clinic provide information about the legality of using, growing, selling and dispensing medicinal marijuana?

7) If the clinic goes out of business, who can be contacted for verifications?

Greenway has become the premier San Francisco Bay Area medical marijuana clinic by providing a compassionate, non-judgmental and detailed evaluation of each patients medical problem, then formulating an individualized treatment plan.

Greenways doctors and front office staff are cannabis-knowledgeable, and the San Francisco medical marijuana clinic keeps an attorney on retainer to answer legal questions for patients that the staff cannot answer. The clinic guarantees 100% patient privacy, per HIPPA guidelines, and compliance with all California laws.

Greenway provides two copies of each patients recommendation, plus a small card at no additional cost. Once patients have seen a Greenway doctor, they can call or email follow-up questions to get informed answers without additional fee.

Greenway is independently owned and operated. The clinic prides itself on excellent customer service from employees who are compensated with living wages and medical benefits.

The Greenway San Francisco medical cannabis doctors are located in downtown San Francisco at 965 Mission Street, #212, between 5th & 6th Streetsone block from the Powell Street BART Station. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 11 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.

For more information, contact Greenway at (415) 777-0157. In order to make an appointment at Greenway, please email appointment(at)greenway420(dot)com.

There are a few things that go into a business site that has it all together and is done right. When you can achieve that, then you will be contributing to the positive usability of that site. One of those factors we will be discussing today is browser load time because it matters for several reasons. If it is too long, then you know from your own experiences that it is really annoying. Follow along with us as we discuss some proven methods that will help your browser loading times be less offensive.

If you are not using a blog, then you really should take care that your site is coded in a clean manner, and this is pertaining to HTML coding. It is definitely possible to have crappy HTML coding with a normal looking site, but what happens is it impacts the load time to some degree. This is worth looking in to because any amount you can improve will help. Doing a W3C check plus a clean HTML code check is the thing to do, and then simply correct any errors that come up. Actually, performing these kinds of checks are the simplest and easiest to do.

One thing that is not so common but still a possibility is using HTML or other code that can be easily replaced with CSS. CSS allows you to have a single file on your host, and then if a page needs the info it just calls for it. This approach using CSS is extremely helpful for very large sites so each page does not have to be changed. Cookies and caching of files on user computers will load some of the info and make the pages load even faster which is great. One other point is the proliferation of template sites that are coded in CSS and HTML – there, problem solved. The primary beneficiaries of CSS are those with very huge sites, and this can save them lots of time when making certain kinds of edits. Nip over to You can try here for current information.

Reducing the load times of your site is not just about working with images, but you’ll also have to see to it that you’re compressing the site’s content as it can have a big impact on bringing down the load times. You can compress and optimize your content using HTTP compression so that you’re not sending the data in different files, but rather ensure that it is sent in one single file.

If you need a place to begin, then start by testing the loading speeds for your pages, and that way you have something to work with. Try to optimize your times as much as possible because that can give you some flexibility if you need it. Overall, your efforts to minimize the load times of your website will prove to be successful if you take simple steps on a regular basis to not only keep a tab on the speed, but to also make necessary changes to get better loading times.

In Rochester at Michigan presidential candidates kicked off debate against the background of runaway foreclosures, staggering unemployment and unstable auto industry. Michigan is continuing to reel under the recession of 2009 and the weak economy.

Eventually the Republican hopefuls will have to come face to face with this fallout from the comments of Herman Cain who has recently been charged by a minimum of four women for sexual misbehavior during the 90s.

The focus will be on Detroit whose fortunes have tumbled following the collapse of the auto industry of America. Mitt Romney and Cain are from Michigan. They and other Republicans will have to explain to the people why they opposed the government bailout of Chrysler and General Motors.

Eight Republicans attended the debate on 9th November held at Oakland University. Their card is that the Tea Party wanted less government spending by the federal government. But independent voters would be put off. The latter have a vital role in the elections. The bailout of auto firms is sure to be a key issue in the campaigns.

The Obama government had bailed out General Motors and Chrysler. After having passed through bankruptcy they are now once more earning profits and hiring workers.

However the economy of Michigan continues to be bad largely because of the slide in the auto industry. For the last ten years it has been battling a slump that has led the unemployment rate to be a staggering 14% or more following the 2008 financial crisis.

Currently Michigan ranks 7th in foreclosure rate listings and third in unemployment with the rate being 11.1%. The average of the nation is 9%,

Detroit’s position is particularly bad. With the exodus of many, the city has shrunk. One fourth of the residents exited during 2000 to 2010. Entire blocks are filled with eerie vacant houses; over 20% of the houses in the city are without occupants.

The supporters of Obama are hopeful of Democratic victory because of the steps he took to revive Chrysler and General Motors. The region however has tilted towards the GOP. This has made the challenge for Obama tougher.

Romney’s approach avoided the auto industry bailout opposition issue but focused on his roots in Michigan. He wrote, “In Detroit, the city of my birth, far higher joblessness has brought a great cit to the edge of ruin. The will be no one on that stage this week more pained by Michigan’s struggle than I am”.
